131st Conference of the Association for the Study of Japanese Language and Literature (全国大学国語国文学会 第131回 令和7年度 夏季大会)

We are pleased to announce the upcoming 131st Conference of the Association for the Study of Japanese Language and Literature (全国大学国語国文学会), which will be held from 28 to 29 June 2025 in a hybrid format at the Kudanshita Campus of Nishōgakusha University, Tokyo, and online (Zoom).

On 28 June, from 13:30 to 17:00 JST, the Conference will host the symposium 日本文学史の再構築―ヨーロッパの視座から, in collaboration with scholars from French and Italian universities. The event aims to reconsider the history of Japanese literature and the current state of Japanese literary and linguistic studies from the perspective of Japanese studies in Europe.

Keynote speakers will include Gala Maria Follaco, Daniel Struve, and Sadami Suzuki.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
