本イベントでは、イタリア最古かつ最大規模のLGBTQアーカイブとしてフラヴィア・マダスキ/カッセロ資料センターの事例を通じて、草の根の社会運動の結果として生まれたイタリアのLGBTQIA+アーカイブの起源と発展を探求します。クィアコミュニティの記憶を保存し、高めてきた戦略と実践を辿ります。新たなアーカイブや共有記憶プロジェクトの創出を促す知見と優良事例を提供するとともに、日本における同様のアーカイブの将来像を考察するディスカッションを行います。

Il seminario racconterà, attraverso l’esperienza del Centro di Documentazione Flavia Madaschi, la nascita e lo sviluppo degli archivi LGBTQIA+ in Italia come frutto di un’azione collettiva dal basso. Verranno ripercorse le strategie e le pratiche che hanno permesso di preservare e valorizzare le memorie delle comunità queer. L’incontro offrirà spunti e buone pratiche per ispirare la creazione di nuovi archivi e percorsi di memoria condivisa con una discussione che considera il futuro di archivi simili in Giappone.

This seminar will explore, through the experience of the Flavia Madaschi Documentation Center, the origins and development of LGBTQIA+ archives in Italy as the result of grassroots collective action. It will trace the strategies and practices that have helped preserve and enhance the memories of queer communities. The event will offer insights and good practices to inspire the creation of new archives and shared memory projects, with a discussion that considers the future of similar archives in Japan.
