I hold a dual PhD in Asian Studies and Comparative Literature from Penn State University and am currently a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Arizona State University. I work on Japanese and Korean early modern print culture, material culture, and literature focusing on representations of bodies. Connected to that I am interested in fashion, textiles, and material cultures associated with identity and self-fashioning.
