About Me

I’m an Assistant Professor of Arts and Humanities at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where I teach humanities courses on video games, graphic narratives, and East Asian culture.

I hold a dual-title Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Visual Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. My primary area of research is global visual culture, especially video games and comics from Japan and Latin America. Other research areas include world literature, gender studies, and Japanese literature.
